Im riding a 07 600RR and they have the HESS steering dampener. I like this feature but im trying to stunt and need to be able to manually adjust this. ive have heard rummors about being able to adjust the HESS dampner that is stock with the bike and it being better then an aftermarket one. do you know anything about this? And if you cant adjust the stock one then how difficult is it to put like a GPR on the bike? Do i have to take off or disconect the stockk one? The hond steering dampners are electronic and tighten and loosen according to how fast you are goin.

never heard anything about that. you can get an aftermarket and you will probably have to remove the stock one.

there you go bud, considering that yours in electronic you would be able to put this on and not have to disable your HESS. cause at lower speeds when you HESS cuts out this one will stay effective and at higher speeds if your setting on this one is less than your HESS it will take over in place of the after market stabalizer. so you'll actually have double the protection for lowend and top end.

no the HESS is actually located underneath the front left side of the gastank. there is a lil hump there and its hidden under there
