KCIR Oct. 10th

Some guys on SCRacing are going down to KCIR (Kansas City International Raceway) to get some good 1/4 mile times in. I believe they are leaving afternoonish that friday, then staying the night their, and hitting up some strip clubs or something. I dunno yet. BUT i was thinking if the weather is permitting i wanna take the ninja down there and see what I can run.
I also, wanna wear a parachute when i line up, and see if the people say anything. Be like "Someone told me, that if you are running fast times, you gotta have a parachute.." lol.
ALSO, has anyone ran down there? What kind of gear do you need? I dont have a full suit, nor do i have an actual riding jacket, but i would be be buying one for the trip.

think most strips make you have some form of leather suit.

i ran there, said you needed a boot that covers your ankle in their rules.... nobody ever checked, and i wore jeans and my leather jacket

only thing that sucks is they let the cars run 2-3x to our 1 pass.... gay!

When i was there with my car, i ran twice.. The street cars BARELY got to go. EVERYONE ELSE got at least like 7 runs. They were letting the bikes go A LOT, and the junior drags got like 2 or 3 runs in a row, then the pro street went, then the bikes again, then the junior drags again, then us.. repeat. It was fail, and the people there were dicks. I wasnt ever going to go back, BUT its probably the best/closest (besides Kearney on the being close part) we are gonna get...

WOW. crazy it was exact opposite when i was there... street cars got everything. they shut it down a couple times for some ba cars 2 run the track by themselves but the bikes had 2 sit and wait.... and i wasnt getting any times recorded but my 1/4 time...

Its still going on, not sure where we are meeting up yet though.
I have a fake leather jacket, do they check if its real or not? And i think i might buy some riding shoes.

Or does it have to be leather? What if its a non-leather riding jacket. I forgot what they're called..

Well, ill also be on a 500r.. So ill be hitting like a 13.xx. My trap speed probably wont even be 3 digits.. lol
