probably not quite the same as all the others, but here goes...
i love to wheelie. i can't do it for longer than like a block but hey i sure do try. i can tell i keep pushing my limits. i could probably wheelie on my dirt bike for like 2-3 blocks clutching it up from a near stop and going through gears. i rarely slip up and go to far back on the dirt bike and if i do its no big deal. i pick it up and start riding again.
the thing i fear is that i really would like to not fuck up the rc51. even though it rarely happens on the dirt bike, it still happens.
so what i'm getting at is that i think it will at some point in time happen on my street bike. should i just try and keep the front wheel on the ground till i found a wrecked bike to screw around on?

i'll be getting frame sliders here soon.
i get the front wheel pretty high off the ground and i don't feel uncomfortable. i think it'll just be a matter of time be i can ride it a ways

Take my advice you see the sweet ass bike below, just when you think you get good at wheelies something goes wrong then you don't have it anymore, so take my advice and many of the other guys who say get a stunt bike cause you don't realize how much you love the bike until its gone!

big thing is to make sure you know your bike i rode for months on my 929 before i did any thing and i fell pretty comfortable doing it now cuz i know my bike and what it will do

i feel pretty comfortable on mine. i can clutch it up from a very slow roll and hold it for a bit. i've only had the thing for a month

id give yourself another month or two before you get even a bit serious. Its not that you know how to ride it, its the second nature reactions you get after riding your bike for a long time.
