Alright well its a stock RM250. Im sure it has many many hours/miles on it. It does run and ride.I will get pictures up a little later today. The shifter is a pretty loose due to it being 23 years old. You can still shift just fine through the gears it just takes a little practice to get it down perfect. Comes with a manual, helmet, and some oil for it.

Askin $400.

Anyone interested.

Edit: Reason for selling is that I just got the cops call on me again for riding in an undeveloped neighborhood. Im sick of dealing with tight ass people that have nothing better to do then call the cops on some kid that is 100 yards from their house riding around on his dirt bike. ...and dont tell me how it is still illegal for me to be there cause I already know.

Located in Omaha.

Here are some pics. I forgot I had another swing arm and rear shock. There are about 18 oz left of oil in the container.

Im in Omaha. Anyone interested is more than welcome to come see it.

Forgot to put that the front tire is basically new. And the pic shows the amount of tread left on the rear tire.

Why does the tail sit like that? Man i wish i had $400.. My brother in law just took me out to the motorcross track last weekend, and let me ride his 04 250r. i want one real bad now.. But im broke :(

Not sure why the tail sits so high. Ive had the bike for a few years and it is still the same as I bought it. The previous owner put all those sweet stickers too.

Tuesday evening would be best. Thursday I move back to school in Lincoln.

If 06_636 decides not to get it ill let you know Nickels.

triumph955i
08-13-2008, 08:06 PM
I dont know if its a trials bike. Ive just used it for driven around undeveloped neighborhoods and some jumps. Nothing huge.

On a side not I did get the shifter to not be so loose. Its much easier to shift through the gears now.

Mr. Jeff

triumph955i
08-13-2008, 10:45 PM
could be.

Also I assumed everyone knows this but it doesnt have a title. I can provide a bill of sale however. There is really no need for a title if you are just gunna ride it at a track or off roads.

Trials bikes dont have a very fast top speed though do they. The Rm 250 can hit at least 45mph.

Nickels

I looked at some youtube videos. That shit is kinda cool. Not my cup of tea, for me to do, but badass!

The way the tail is on the bike makes it look like a trials bike

The rear subframe isnt bent is it? It just sits like that normally? Will this still beat around a track pretty decent?

Mr. Jeff

Nickels
08-23-2008, 11:12 PM
If this thing runs, and will be able to jump on a motorcross track, and last me like 2 months or so at least, ill come buy it for $300 tomorrow.

triumph955i
08-24-2008, 02:20 PM
Never had it on a track but Im sure it would do just fine. Only time I have really put it through consistent jumps and constant throttle was running away from this neighborhood patrol pickup. Ran across 2 neighborhoods, with some small 10-15 foot jumps in there. It did just fine running from that guy. But like I said Ive never had it on the track

Nickels
08-24-2008, 02:57 PM
K. How is the suspension? Does it feel pretty worn out?

Noslenkire
08-24-2008, 04:22 PM
How about I just bet you $300 dollars that Nick won't buy the fucking thing and you can hand it over to me when you lose?

Nickels
08-24-2008, 04:27 PM
I have three hundred bucks in my wallet for this. I dont have another 100.. I just licensed the ninja hoping it to be 500, but instead it was 591.

dsmdarryl
08-25-2008, 01:28 AM
lol you will be happy with the bike nickels. if you're really worried about the suspension just look at the forks and see if there's any oil on them. ride it, jump it etc.. and check it again. if he's close have him go by cf so you can test ride it.

Nickels
08-25-2008, 05:35 PM
The bike is in Omaha..

triumph955i
08-25-2008, 11:49 PM
the extra rear one is newish. I kinda doubt that its brand new since its for an 1985 dirtbike. Front seems just fine though.

dsmdarryl
08-26-2008, 01:37 AM
