So I was braking on the interstate yesterday coming back from grand island (someone cut me off) and I realized I wasnt breaking nearly as fast as I should. Then I tried using just my rear brake, and it doesnt do shit. Well I get home and I can grab the rear brake caliper and twist it side to side maybe like...an 1/8 of an inch. I dont really know shit about bikes and didnt look at it long, but can someone with some expertise help me take a look at it? I also dont have a stand or anything to work on it with. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreicated. Thanks. Also this is a 97 Triumph Daytona T595

check bolt tightness obviously, but check your fluid level and try to bleed the caliper and all. are you back in lincoln?

This probably isn't the problem but something to think about. Your front brake does 70 percent of the stopping force when slowing your bike.

I understand this, but you know I'd like the rear brake to work as well.
