I got my bike yesterday after what took forever. It is an 05 r6 with 13k miles on it. Came with sliders, new rubber, flush signals, steel brake lines and steering damper. It seriously looks brand new and I have fell in love with it. Drove it all yesterday when I got it back from Omaha and I am about to take it out again.

oh yea and i had a bike just like that, and i loved it, it was a good bike.

no seriously though, on the shadow, i cruise at like 1500 probably, and on the ninja i think like 3ish or 4. Whatever makes the bike happy.

I just get the bike quiet so its not annoying. Although sometimes, i like the sound, so ill cruise a little higher.

Ok question....sometimes when i take my bike out for the first time on the day it dies when I shift down to first. Only like once though then I get going and it runs perfect and sounds great. I wonder if it is a battery issue?

bat would give you problems in the start or awhile after riding. check vacuum lines, fuel lines, and clutch cable. put in 91+ octane only and search for the best motorcycle injector cleaner.

when I got mine it ran a little shitty, i pulled the top of the air cleaner off and kept spraying some carb cleaner into the throttle bodies, sometimes to where the engine was choking. Tons of smoke came out the back haha, but after all was said and done the dam thing ran perfect again.

Lately I have just been letting the bike warm up. (Letting it run until it shows me an engine temp) I havn't had any problems since....maybe it was just cold?

I never ride until it says an actual temp unless its to put it in gear and move it a few feet up hill. You can ride with no temp but better on bike to wait.

Theres a non digital (whatever its called) on the Kawi, but on the Honda, all i have is a speedo.
