I have been looking for parts for the 500.. I wanna lower it a few inches, but cant find the lowering links. I looked on ebay, then googled it. Im not too good at finding shit online.
oh ya, Im thinking about selling the honda.. Maddy never rides the kawi, and theres no point to spend money on two bikes, when 1 hardly gets riden. Im trying to rid of pointless debt, but dont wanna get rid of the truck. lol

Maddy. Shes paying for it, and im paying for the service plan, since i ride it more than her. BUT she never rides it, and doesnt really care to ride it anymore.. kind of a shitty situation. She wants to go back to school and shit too. Her priorities are just changing.

We dont sell bikes/parts/well anything. We are strictly a manufacturing plant. We also dont make bikes out there. ALL bikes are now made in Japan.

I lowered it all the way i could with the coilover, and will probably leave it like that for a little while..
I might lower it another inch or two, but i think instead (so i dont take away from ground clearance) i might get the seat shaved a little bit.
PLUS it looks like the exhaust is going to hit the swing arm, and when i jump up and down on it (to see if it hits) it hits a little bit when fully compressed.

It looks stock still. So like 4-5 inches.

so the bike leans when you stop?

I can flat foot one foot, and the bike looks straight up. I just wanna flat foot, or get close to. I feel more comfortable when i stop. Right now, its not too bad though, i think i might lower it another inch, maybe 2.

i've never flat footed a bike with both feet. bikes are made to perform best at the height you buy them at. i would rather tip toe like i do then screw with the handling.

I just wanna ride a bike in comfort.. When have you ever seen me go stunt, or hit up the twistys? lol. It has a 130 back tire.. i dont think it was really meant to turn at 100 mph. lol

larry begs to differ.... 100 on his 250 is nothing. plus you have the 750 to relax on.

Larry is also a better rider than me, lol.
I almost scrapped peg around a roundabout on the 500, lol. I turned my foot just a little bit and scrapped the toe of my shoe.

just dont drop it too far. my brother dropped his fzr 1" and now you cant sit a passenger on the back that weighs more than like 40 lbs because the back tire rubs and the exhaust hits the ground.
you obviously have a different bike but just something to really watch out for.

just ignore my post then. i have limited experience with bikes. just know how my little brothers turned out.
i have to find some way to lower my ninja so my girlfriend can ride it. no one makes dogbones for it. and you cant slide the forks up. :x time to shave the seat i guess.
