I have a 2005 GSXR 600 that needs to be finished! $4500 OBO

I bought this bike last year salvaged It was a theft recovery . The bike Runs and Rides perfect in as is condition with only 8400 miles, but It need an exhaust system. You can get on off ebay for around $200. Also It needs keys for it, bc some one drilled out the tumblers when they took it, but It will work how it is now. Key set on ebay is around $60.

I have burnt orange paint and a blue that changes colors for the bike too.
New powder coated parts:

New powder coated black, swing arm, pegs, heal guard

Baby blue, swing arm parts , Blue back sprocket (stock size), New front sprocket one tooth smaller (for more toque) , Blue swing arm linkage, new blue handle bars and triple clamp.

Brand new back Michelin Pilot Power Tire

New stator

Chrome polished frame , and started polishing the front rim

This is a good running bike it gets gr8 gas mileage around 50-55 mpg, This bike books for $6000 on KBB. I love this bike and don’t want to get rid of it, my plan was to customize the bike and put a custom burnt orange paint job on it but my car broke down and I need money. All it will take is about $500-$800 to make this bike perfect. But it runs and rides perfect in the condition its in. if you have any questions just e mail me and I will get back to you.

sounds like a pretty nice bike, but im thinking your price is prolly a tad too high. salvage title + needing work make the worth drop.

Salvage title doesnt do shit in nebraska. Mine has a salvage title. But I agree with everyone else. 4500 is a bit too high.

bike sounds like a cluster fuck of diff colors and chrome mixed in! salvage title shit is blue book trade in value minus 25%. its up to you on it! sounds like normal miles but you can find a way cleaner bike for 5000! plus that's a suzuki! lol

salvage title is a bit deal with cars, and not such a big deal with motorcycles, if the person you're selling it to knows somethin.

having a salvage title with a car means it was in a bad wreck (totalled) and therefore could have some serious problems. that or it was stolen

bikes on the other hand, can just get laid down, get the fairings ripped off, and get a salvage title cuz fairings are so expensive and the insurance will just total it out.

the shitty part is ppl who know salvage title on cars means oh shit don't buy it, think the same about a bike, assuming it will have lots of problems. And normally its just cosmetic. Either way, salvage title always means value goes dowwwnn. Its shitty but it happens.

haha holy shit theres a lot of confusion. What I meant was that in the state of Nebraska owning a motorcycle with a salvage title does not create any restrictions or cost more money, to license and register it with the state. It will however decrease the value of the motorcycle when you are trying to sell it.

So basically 4500 for a salvage bike it too much. Knock 500 of that and see if you get any more interest.
