The bike has just under 10,000 miles on it, all stock, has no scratches or anything on it, looks damn good for a 2000. He's asking $4,800 for it, KBB says $4,850. Whats everyone think? Sound like a decent bike, anyone have comments?

someone here in town(jayme) has a 1999 i believe. pretty sure he likes his bike alot. from what i can tell its a good bike... i would offer him 4,500 for it, but if its in the condition like you said it is, then i dont think 4,800 would be a bad price...

u the kid with the matt black nine we rode with last night? i guess i didnt ask when u bought it. I payed 4900 for mine 2 years ago from star city. it had quite a bit done to it and it have 8,000 miles on it. So u might be able to get cheaper. If you look on ebay u see them go for real cheap. keep that in mind. and yes, i do love my 9!
(damn. i hate when other people have the same shit as i do) lol

I'd try and go a little lower with the amount of miles and what not. Make sure to check on chain wear, how worn the brakes are, color of oil ( to be sure that its getting changed regularly) and tire wear, so that you know if your going to need to dump any money into it after you buy it.
