Clutch?

I installed my new clutch today, sanded the steels with some 320 grit, lubed them all with the new oil, put everything in, new springs, yada yada.

Problem is now, obviously the clutch feels tighter, but it wont fully disengage. Its barely catching when i have the lever fully pulled.

Can i adjust this somehow?

yes you can, you can adjust it on the bars or on the cover.

i did on the bars, how do you on the cover..? the cover on the opposite side of the clutch where the cable goes in?

its all about the cable which i learned on my kawi.

how much play is in the lever?

ok so the clutch feels fine now, i adjusted it way out on the lever, and after riding it for an hour and letting the bike fully warm up and cool down and stuff it feels good. The lever is still quite a bit more stiff but works fine for me :D

your not gunna want that adjusted way out, you should adjusted down at the clutch cover first so that you still have room to work with as everything stretches and wears in. otherwise youll just be in the same situation a little while from now

oh, and meh, at least its good for now, ill have someone show me how to adjust it later on. im just kinda proud of myself for just figurin it out, althought it really wasn't too hard.
