I'm hoping we hit this number this summer. If everything works out for sponsors i should be able to get the upgrade done in september after i get back from my honeymoon :)
Thanks for joining and spreading the word.
If your not sure what VB is, it's special (high end) software for running web forums like this. Currently Riders operates on a free version of phpbb... VB is professional grade coding that has licensing expenses. www.starcityracing.com (http://www.starcityracing.com) uses the most up to date version of VB. It is really, really nice. at least IMHO but i'm a lil bias.

Nickels should start with a negative handicap just to give the rest of us a chance.

all information from this database would be converted over. The worst case senerio would be manually updating everyone's post count like i did for SCR. But that was completly different.

I definitely think we should do it now, just to help force him to get a sportbike. He will thank us in the end.

How can you not afford insurance on a sport bike? Go to statefarm, they classify bikes by engine size not class. Mine is $40 a month for full.

I agree that State Farm is one of the best companies to insure a motorcycle with. They only insure the bike based on the cc's the bike has and not the classification of the bike like other companies do. So, if you have a 1000cc Sportbike or a 1000cc Cruiser the insurance will be the same. Mine is $431 a year for full coverage on a 1000cc Sportbike.
You do have to have a clean driving record though for them to accept you initially.

I cant be insured with state farm for a minimum of ... uhh ... 5 years? They kicked me off my parents policy when i was 18, and i cant be insured with them again until I no longer have a SR22/high risk

Get one anyway. Insurance is over-rated. If they try to pull you over just run, that's what sport bikes were made for.

Oh thats right... I forgot, whenever you ride a sportbike, you HAVE to swerve back and forth, take the center of a two lane (busy) street, cut people off, rev it everywhere, and do wheelies. OH ya, and run from the police. lol

I was following my friend when he was on his 1980 Honda Trail 70, and this guy on a harley waved to him, lol. It was pretty fucking funny. Then his bike died and wouldnt restart, so we didnt get to jump it over any hills :(
