yep go ahead say it... you told me so....

hit some gravel mid turn which through my back out a bit so i slammed my front brake too hard and flew off smacked my head, the bike slid but surprisingly is pretty unharmed, hardly a scratch actually

my head hurts pretty bad and i can't stop shaking, skinned my knee but its not even bleeding or anything

more just pissed about it than anything

so guess it'll be awhile till i get back on

The bike has a crack up front, but not really noticeable, also has some scratches and shit on the muffler. Not bad at all. Dont take too much time off, you dont wanna build it up, then never get back on.. although, i could take over payments and just take the ninja, lol. jk

that sucks!!! hopefully the whole shaking thing stops cause that really dosen't sound too healthy. yeah dont wait too long before you get back on cause the longer you wait the harder it is to start back up. and besides you know what they say. "There are two types of riders, those that have been down and those that are going down" its always gonna happen and hey now your in the family.

and for future reference...if your tire skitches out on you never slam on either brake, especially not the front brake.

sucks babe!!!!!! you should get back on soon though because if you take too much time off you might psych yourself out and be too scared to EVER get back on, and that would be silly, ya know?

The pipe is scrathced, and the theres a black spot on the fender, those are pretty much the only things that are visible. If you stare at it, and look for damages, you will see the bar end/lever is scratched, as well as the kickstand, and the front fairing is cracked. oh ya and the front blinker is scratched. Nothing is really as bad as it sounds.

my first crash was like that cept I was turning on an on-ramp for dodge street in omaha. Hit some gravel and the tires washed out. No major injuries though. Drove home and fixed the bike and then the next week went back through that same corner. I would go back to the corner and go through it slow at first. It would blow if you never get back on the bike cause of 1 minor crash.

That's no shit. I've hit sand more times than I can count out here.. it's a new development and construction everywhere.

I live in the same neighborhood if you haven't figured that out yet.

You could go over to Saturn road and practice riding around in that school parking lot for awhile. It's pretty close and a fairly good sized lot.

Never went in there myself, just noticed it riding by. People used to stunt there too so I doubt it's terrible.

Wasn't my idea and I don't stunt.. not sure what your suggesting but you'll have to take that up with the people doing it.

its that you can see it from fletcher, its not a smart idea to "stunt" out there.

Yeah, I know...

You can twist it around however to make it sound like I came up with it or we can get back on topic of finding a place for the gal to practice going in circles. I guess Chels thinks I'm getting huffy over the whole thing too... pretty funny since emotion doesn't show up on-line very well.

She started riding in northstar lot, its actually not too bad.. She was doing really decent out there. I think the next nice day we will have to go back out.
