Welcome. Don't get your hopes up about the HP they put out 100 advertised power at the motor stock when they were new. Not bashing you just want you to be realistic. Post up if you have any questions and we will try and help!!

hmmm you buy it from a kid in omaha? You got any pictures of it?

I sold my old 95 katana 750 to a kid that was gunna paint it maroon...

This could be really weird if it turns out to be my old bike.

its weird how car/motorcycles change hands and you randomly run into the buy/seller later on down the line.

Like redsled, my dad bought his bike from him and I randomly met him on scracing.

it is. true story i owned 2 ford Tauruses in my lifetime and i sold the first one when i was 18 and bought a new one when i was 20 and i sold it. Well, on my way to give the title of my second one to the girl who bought it i was thinking in my head i wonder if i'll ever see my old one again and sure enough at that stop light i was pulling up it was sitting right next to me. Crazy small world

Your helmet saves your life.. you usually dont wanna cheap out on a helmet

btw, the Jeep sounds badass. You go offroading much? I got a 94 toyota truck with a 3.5 inch suspension lift, 33x12.5 pro comps (bald), 4.88 gears, lockers front and rear, and 28 mm torsion bars.. yes torsion bars IFS front suspension :(

Brand of helmet that I have. Cost me about 250 though for one. If I were you though I would spend the most money on a helmet and then get a cheap jacket for the time being. I would rather have some roadrash then a cracked skull... :P

you dont NEED a jacket

triumph955i

true you dont need one. But a motorcycle jacket will hold up a lot better in a crash then a few layers of long sleeve shirts. Plus most motorcycle jackets have padding in the elbow and shoulders. Some have it along the back too.
