HELP ME DECIDE!

ok guys... my jacket is too god damn hot to wear in the summer. but i still want some sort of protection, so im getting a vest. ive narrowed it down to two, icon field armor vest, and the alpinestars bionic sp vest. which one should i get? the price really doesnt matter that much but i listed it anyways...

Holy shit, those are the exact same ones I'm looking at. The only thing I don't like about the Icon is it doesn't come down all the way in the front. The thing I don't like the other one is what the extra 50 bucks is for. I think the Icon looks cool though.

then i could be classified a fuckin idiot for trying to LEARN how to stunt on that bike. and there is a reason people stunt f4i's, they are easy, and very durable. the r6 is really difficult, and the fuckin frame would prolly break the first time i droped it hard, and i would be royally fucked because i woulda been still paying on that bike for four years... so there is no reason for me not to sell the r6 and get an F4i. even though "everyone has them" so im gonna get field armor, and also i would have no idea what size to get the bionic SP in.

yea, the vest made out of plastic is gunna do the best job..... especially versus the the gear that was made for motocross, no.... thats not gunna have any protection versus the plastic.... yes, i wear the icon vest because its better than nothing but if i was to do it over id get the sixsixone

yes, its not gunna have as much protection as a jacket but if your not going to wear a jacket then you need to protect some stuff, such as your damn back.... cuz its not like its important.....

wow...i said nothing about any of them being better than the other in protection. I said if you are looking to compare them all the best looking one and most comfortable one is the icon! They are all the same protection which is mainly your back cause yes thats important :roll: and none of them are meant to be worn alone without a jacket so mine as well go with comfort and looks cause they are all gonna do the same in protection plus Jake you arent gonna wreck anyway right you just gotta look fly for the ladies in that wheelie!!LOL

the icon and A* offers nothing compared to the sixsixone though, just look at em together. theres more protection in the front and good protection on the side for whatever those organs are, liver, kidneys etc..... plus when i have the icon vest on it makes me not want to straighten out my back like theres not support at all...

Yeah the sixsixone has alittle bit more but i think that shit would get ripped apart anyway once you wreck but its better than icons vest. I havent had a problem with the icon vest at all with straightening my back but maybe thats just body styles who knows. I found a new one thats pretty sweet and offers alittle more protections and is still comfortable. Its alittle pricey but i think its what im getting.
