nope not yet, tomorrow will be trial and error day with what gear i can hit it.. its all hooked up to my horn switch. as soon as i hit the button it switches over to race tune and starts spraying.

i will take that bet, yea im sure not on with my estimates but just the spray that puts me up to 157 so im only 32hp away, and head porting is good for 20-25hp i think even pat told me that a while back.. so say just tunning and head work that should put me damn close to what im estimating.. we will know for sure tomorrow

I've heard head porting nets like 10-15 which is why I couldn't justify spending $1k to send it off.

I also think you're going to have a hell of a time getting a stretched bike to not spin when hitting an instant n2o shot on the street. But I can't speak from experience on bikes, just cars.

The torque from the n20 is what is going to make the difference I think. You should beat me, it'll all depend on the first 2 gears...

A 2003 1k on r1 forum had cams and some other stuff and a 60 shot. It put down 189hp IIRC.

well i know you will take me off the line, i havnt even tride to get on my bike in 1st yet let alone practice my launches.. and it will be 3rd when i spray, well maybe im gona go out on saturday and find a spot here in omaha to practice my hole shot again and start out with spray in 4th then 3rd then 2nd if it will handle it. 189 just seems like a shit number. i would sell my bike after that..

people on r1forum with my bike and just a exhaust and tune are seeing 136-138 now with everything i had last year with a tune i should have been no lower then 140

then say 15hp for head and 23 for spray thats already 178 not to mention all the other litle shit i did


idk we can stay up all night arguing numbers and this guy had this but only put this down.. all i know is if your right and i only hit 170 im re-jetting for 14 size jets and getting my cam and shit next week

132 n/a and 148 on spray.. i wont know exact gains till dyno day.. i guess comparing the dyno i was tuned on is like a mstang dyno for bikes.. so on spray i should be around 160-165 on dans dyno..

but aparently i can easily get another 10-15whp

they said they ran stock air filter then went to a k&n and lost 5 hp put old filter back in a gained it right back
he also said he installed velocity stacks on his bike lost 3hp took them off and gained the 3 right back
and i guess my exhaust is shit. only has a 3-4 hp gain but if i go with a "arata" those are good fpr 8-12
i only picked up 16whp on spray so im gona jump up a size in jets
then re-tune all over again

so i watched the vids of our runs and wow......... we suck of the line bad. i mean i know i havnt launched in 8 months but after watching the vids i feel even worse about myself lol..

and get your clutch and i will use the bottle this time, im getting more use to it.. and the streets handle it in 3rd no problem. i might even be able to start spraying in 2nd
