Have a 1995 cbr900rr was wondering first off if i can gravity feed it because the fuel pump is acting up and sencond off i dont feel like spending almost 200 on a new one are there any aftermarket ones i can use...my other question is when i stated the bike about a month ago it started and ran for about 5 min i shut it off and now it will not start at all i know i need a new battery so i just ran jumpers from the car battery to try and start it..(did not start car)i know that can fry the battery lol u have any idea i poured a little gas down the volicity stacks and it turned over a couple time but now im gettin nothing...

you have to get a new pump if that is the problem and just look around for after marked pumps. but 200 doesnt sound bad for a fuel pump. how old is the battery? has it been sitting for along time? might be time to get a new one

read some post on the fireblade site and some guys were sayin u can run without it because it only pumps like a couple psi as long as the gas in the tank stays above the carbs...im gettin a new batter next week
