seems to be a lot less common on bikes than cars, or im just looking in the wrong places...

also, considering the wide use of air shifters, it seems to me that it would be real easy to hook up an air shifter to a shift light and have an automatic bike(upshifting)....is this idea in use?

the idea of an electronic actuator on the shifter via a cable has been going thru my mind the past couple days. i did some launching on the 12 saturday and the end of first came up fucking quick, almost rushing me to get my feet on the pegs...

launch control? what you wanting? Like a rev box that if you have the clutch in and it on, it only revs to the rpm you set it at?

kinda, except i want it controllable by speed.

for example, if the bike is going less than 10mph the rev limiter is set at 5k.

thats how i have my civic set up and it works wonderfully. this would be easy to do with software, im surprised the power commander doesnt do it.

Ducati Streetfighter S traction controll will work kinda like that. all you have to do is dump the clutch, the computer basically figures out how much power it can possibly give without flipping the bike over, holds the front end up like 2 ft and takes off like a rocket. ....if you've got 19k to lay down.

for 19k i think i can spend a lot of time practicing or find a racing school.
