2004 busa

so my friend is lazy and hasnt made a account on here so figured i would start this for him... so anyways my friend jon just bought a 04 busa... the motor needed to be swapped... so we now have it all torn down and got the noew motor in it... it has a 8 over extended swing arm, powercamander3, k&n, exhaust, -1 on front sprocket, and +2 on rear, and been lowerd in the rear 3" and 1" in the front.... so knowing this bike is going to be just stupid in the quarte with him riding... he decides hey why not lower compression a nice big turbo and nitrous... so non the less still torn down and parts are on the way... so i will get pics as soon as he give me my camera back...

run about 5psi and a 30 wet shot, i'ed say a mid to low 8 in the 1/4

i think its a 16g turbo... 8-9lbs is suppose to gain 90-100hp hmmmm what would 12-15lbs do? lol to fast for r1 i quite...lol the turbo is on turbokits.com if you want to check it out... and for some reason his computer wont load the pics on here.. ugh

Ive heard its usually lb of boost = 10 hp so 12-15 lbs, 120-150 hp.

hahaha people put 16g on my car when they want a turbo accord. that bike is gunna be fast as hell.

My roommate use to have a 16g on his talon, and ran a 13.3 at the track then up'd the boost and ran on a G-Tech and ran a 12.9

16g's are generally the most common upgrade on a dsm, cuz the 14b sucks. Theirs the normal style then the evo style or sum shit. Thats a pretty big turbo to fit on a busa tho, id almost think it'd be way too much for the bike. But I guess busa = 1.3 L and DSM = 2.2L?

just orderd the full dual exhaust today for it... got the new fairings, clear turn signals, and lizard lights on way... will be ordering turbo later this evening when the guy ever decided to call us back.. ugh and still ccant load damn pics on here

turbo will be at max boost around 6-7 grand

Why not throw a 20g on there? or a 18g, i believe it has the same housing as the 16g, just bigger inlet and shit.

well we got the exhause new fairings, bar ends, and everything in... just waiting for turbo to arrive... and then we can put it all back together and paint... should be up and running in 2 weeks...

ok so all parts are in still waiting on damn turbo... ugh we called today nobody answerd so we hope to have it tomorrow or wednesday at latest... then we spend every min after work putting it all back together and hope its nice out this weekend so we can bring it out...

yea stock motor.. he is only on 7lbs for now. he has a second motor he will be building for mor boost sometime..
