I already have the Vortex -1 up front. I am really debating the +2 in the rear. Right now radar calibrated and speedohealer I top out a 165mph and at 75mph in 6th I am at 7500 rpms. How much will it raise my RPM approximately? And also will it be safe on the motor for occasional highway riding?
Thanks
Josh

+2 Rear Sprocket ordered along with a 120 520 RK Chain.
Do you have a chain cutter and could you lend a hand?

sure, you get a chain with a clip master link or rivet master? if its a 520 rk chain its prolly a clip...

I wonder what i would be like with a +3 in the rear.. probably like max speed of 85 or something, lol.

I ended up cancelling the chain since I found out I won't need it and I have 520 already. So I spent a bit more and I changed my order from JT alloy to Vortex +2 rear he said it will be here sat or mon still.

is it still gunna be long enough? plus you have to account for the fact that chains and sprockets develop a wear pattern together, so depending on how worn together your shit is you may cause premature wear of one thing or another...

Yea I asked some guys on ninja6zone and they said it worked with the stock chain. My front sprocket is about 1000 miles old and the chain is 3500 miles. I should be fine for now. I'll get a new chain next season or if need be a whole set and chain next season. You still down to do it when it comes in Jace?

You gotta put the elcamino back together before it is an el camino. But make sure you dont stand in front of it when you start it.
