d2moto kinda seems like a harbor frieghts for motorcycles. No personal experience on their parts though, sorry. But it is only $30 so can't hurt to try. Unless it f's up your bike.

its not for my bike. but, i like the chrome look on the stator covers. would it be cheaper/better to just have the stock one chrome plated?

I had one exactly similar except with "GSXR" engraved on it. Worked perfect. Didn't come with a gasket and didn't want to wait a week for SCM to order one, so I made my own.

explain? SCM was going to take longer to order mine and since they were the same price I figured I might as well get a chrome one.
