currently eyeballing an 01 Triumph Sprint RS 955i

21,000 miles, NEW tires, just changed oil, new X-ring chain. Comes with extra oil filter, clutch cable, factory Triumph tank bag, heated grips, Throttle Miester cruise control, Two Brothers pipe with the ECM map reprogrammed for the pipe,

thoughts? not looking for a fast bike. just something powerful and newer. i prefer triumphs...just kinda have a soft spot for them.

comparisons between this and the daytona? which is taller? comfort? etc.

i'm 5'7" for reference.

I like it and say do it, but will let a triumph guy tell you the comparisons

i need to be able to have both feet flat on the ground on this thing. with my current gs550 i'm tip toeing at stop lights and it bugs me.

if the aftermarket is there then of course.

but like my gs, there's no aftermarket for it due to its age and i dont want to hack up a clean vintage bike like that.

i believe they are both about the same height but that 955 would def. be more comfortable

here are a few not too far from lincoln, basically if you want to stick with triumph and start sporty and comfortable i would go with a sprint or older daytona 955 or something like that if you go too newer it will be expensive and less comfortable. personally i like some of the older sprints and i like the 955 they both are a little more comfortable

oh and about the sprint RS.

the body is just too bulky. i'll be saving up for a daytona 675 or 955 eventually.

maybe a BMW if i win a lottery
