I've read couple of threads about lowering the bikes. I'm 5'6" tall, although I could reach the ground fine on the 2008 ninja 250, but I want to be able to touch the ground little more so I would feel comfortable. I don't worry much about performance, hence it's a 250. I just want to be able to touch the ground. So I went to starcity motorsports and they sell a set of lowering link for $100 to lower the rear.

I thought it was quite expensive so I went home and found this on ebay.

Should I buy this or is it just another ebay crap?

Also if this kit is to lower the rear, how about the front? I've searched and I don't find anything.

Please forgive me for anything that sounds stupid, since i'm a noob. But I'm willing to learn.

Thanks in advance.

not sure if its like this on the 250's also, but easy way to "lower" the front is to support the bottom of the bike, loosen the clamps on the forks and slide the forks up farther to achieve the desired height

I asked some people and they told me the exact samething as well.
